The Rhode to The Rest of Our Lives: The Dress, Finally

My girls were dressed, and it was finally time for me to put on my dress.  The dress that I changed so much, and made it my own.

The wallpaper in the hotel room made a great backdrop for my dress to be photographed on. I loved the  contrast between the white and the red and the pattern of the stripes.

My mom was getting my dress ready for me to step into, and took one last look of it on the hanger that I made.  I love this picture - the way she is looking at it with such pride and emotion gets me every time.

Next, it was time to step into the dress.  My mom helped zip me in - easy as ever.

And with just a few adjustments, I was ready for my accessories!

How easy was your dress to get into?  I think mine was record time compared to some. I would have hated to have a corset and as much as I love the look, standing there and getting buttoned in would have driven me crazy.  I was ready to get everything on and go!
