The Rhode to The Rest of Our Lives: His Family

While I was taking pictures with my parents, D was doing the same with his.  But again, I won't bore you with too many formal pictures.

I love this picture of D and his dad. It just shows happiness and silliness at the same time.

D also took pictures with his grandmothers, who were both very happy to be able to attend the wedding.

This picture just shows the absolute love that D has with his grandmother.  Such a special bond, and with her now living in Rhode Island, being able to see her is so much easier.

Next, I hopped in and took some pictures with D and his parents. I have always been so grateful for how they have invited me into their family. It has been very comforting to know that they care about me and have always loved me throughout my relationship with D.

And lastly, we invited my parents in, and we took a group shot with both of our parents.  I love the way that this picture came out. It shows coordination, everything looks perfect, and everyone looks happy (even my parents, who STILL don't know how to smile for pictures!).

Did you take a group shot with both sets of parents?  How long was your list of formal shots? Was it more than you expected?
